Contemporary folk illustration of a raccoon with a flower behind her ear, sitting on a gingham blanket with wild berries, a floral mug, and a vintage radio among birch trees and wildflowers. A wildlife illustration by Nadia Di Fiore.

Where the Berries Grow

This illustration captures a whimsical scene in a forest daydream. At the center is a raccoon with the expression of someone who knows exactly where to find the best berries. She sits on a gingham blanket with an orange flower tucked behind one ear, reminiscent of the 1960s style.

In the foreground, there is a vintage bowl filled with wild-picked berries, a floral mug, and a peach-toned radio playing something indie—perhaps bluegrass, folk, or even the Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project. The background features birch trees, and wildflowers are scattered throughout the forest.

Originally created as an art print, this digitally hand-drawn wildlife illustration has now been adapted for various small items, including stickers and greeting cards.
